I work one-on-one with clients and their dogs as a certified canine and strength and conditioning (fitness) coach. I begin by understanding the client’s goals for their dog and assessing their fitness level. Based on the information above, I design a fitness program for clients to perform at home with their dogs. The program is open to puppies, adolescents, and senior dogs.
Please note that a Canine Strength and Fitness Coach does NOT diagnose, treat, or rehabilitate a dog from an injury or post-op. As such, it is NOT a substitute for rehabilitation services from a DVM.
Foundation Fitness
This is the start of your dog’s fitness program. After the initial assessment, we will meet for a 45-minute session once a week for six weeks.
Your commitment is to train with your dog with the fitness program that I created in between sessions. Ideally, your dog will attend “your gym” three times to four times a week.
You will share your training sessions via short video submission so I can give you feedback between sessions.
Advance Fitness Program
Once you and your dog have learned the basics of Canine Fitness and Conditioning, you may enroll in the Advance Fitness program.
Advance Canine Fitness is similar to a person’s fitness journey: it involves more reps, challenges, and variety. We also use more challenging (and fun!) equipment with our dogs to improve their fitness and achieve lasting results.
The program requires similar commitment from you in between sessions. Still, the scheduling of the training sessions is different: We will meet every three weeks for six months to assess and modify or increase exercises as needed, review equipment set-ups, and answer questions.
I like to support my clients between in-person or remote sessions by having them submit videos of their training sessions and providing timely feedback.
Please contact me directly so that I can learn more about your goals.
