C.H.A.C.O’s Puppy Board & Train

Includes:

1. Ninety minutes Initial consult with pet parents to determine any specific areas of concern, breed-specific information, pet parent’s goals, and at-home set-up after board and train.
2. Three training sessions per day.
3. Around-the-clock management for the safety and comfort of your puppy.
4. Appropriate socialization outings
5. Visit D.V.M. if vaccinations are needed.
6. Puppy play group* (If more than one puppy is present for the board & train period.)
7. One-hour weekly “transfer session” with puppy parents at C.H.A.C.O. s hub in Tesuque to continue having pet parents bond with their puppy and learn what we have been working on during the week.
8. The puppy stays with me Monday-Friday and it goes home over the weekend to continue to bond with its “parents” and for parents to implement at home the training the puppy has been learning via the board & train with me. The puppy is returned back to me Sunday at 4 pm.
9. Please note that if your puppy comes down with Parvo or another highly-infectious disease while at Board & Train, the Board & Train will end immediately with the puppy having to go home ASAP. All monies not used will be returned in full. You must agree to have your puppy returned to you in order to enroll your pup in Board & Train.

Training sessions:

Include the following:

• All aspects of socialization: house training, crate training, people, sounds, novelty, no jumping on people, interaction with friendly adult dogs, bite inhibition.
• Husbandry: Handling, brushing, harness, or collar fitting and acceptance.
• Basic obedience: sit, down, come, loose leash walking, impulse control (leaving undesirable items amongst other applications).
• Age-appropriate conditioning: Balance, proprioception exercises, confidence-building exercises.
• Bodywork. Tellington TTouch.

Fees:

$3,428.00 (Santa Fe County tax included). Payment must be paid in full at the start of the board & train.
